Lower Limb Orthotics – Conventional Bracing
Many different types of lower limb orthotic devices have been used for decades to improve a patient’s function by controlling motion, providing support through stabilizing gait, reducing pain through transferring load to another area, correcting flexible deformities, and/or preventing progression of fixed deformities.
The clinical and technical team at Prosthetic & Orthotic Associates is experts on creating custom lower limb orthotic solutions from a wide range of materials and all customized to each patient’s specific body and needs. From the individual evaluation to the shape capture process to the fitting of the final device, our team will focus on finding the best options to provide our patients with their most successful outcomes.
All of our team members have extensive experience in working with pediatric patients who need orthotic interventions to help make their daily lives more active and less painful. We are used to pushing insurance companies to do what is right to help children in need of orthotic assistance while at the same time creating the custom orthotic solutions that will help to create long term progress for these young patients.
