Utilizing CAD/CAM Technologies
The clinical and fabrication team at Prosthetic & Orthotic Associates has committed to the use of CAD/CAM technology.
We start by capturing the shape of the limb with a Comb Scanner to get a clean, accurate model.
Our team then uses various CAD/CAM technologies just such as Ossur Design Studio, OMEGA Tracer, Artec Scanner, GeoMagic Freeform, Autodesk Fusion 360, Rhinoceros 3D, HP Fusion Printing, and an in-house Icarus 3D printer.
The result is a highly repeatable, clean, quick, and accurate patient fitting process, shaving hours off behind-the-scenes work and leaving us with more time to spend meeting your goals.
