"The POA Team has given me my life back at its full potential"

Tony was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center and underwent a traumatic amputation of his left leg below the knee due to a traumatic motorcycle accident on August 8, 2020. When Tony first came to POA on September 28, 2020 after four surgeries as a 28 year old, he didn't want his amputation to slow him down. His goals were to return to doing everything he was capable of previously including leading a very active life, returning to lifting weights, running and hiking.

Tony loves going to the gym and going for walks with his wife and daughter. He currently manages a solar sales team at PlugPV. After Tony lost his leg, he made it his life's mission to uplift those in need, which he accomplishes in his role co-hosting a podcast called Two Dudes Three Legs.

Exactly 2 years after his first encounter with POA as a new amputee, Tony's dream came through when he was fit with an activity specific prosthesis with Levitate running blade.

“Everyone at POA is very friendly and happy to help. I never feel as if I am a bother and always feel well taken care of. As an amputee with a lot of experience I can honestly say that POA is SECOND TO NONE!!! The care that I get here is consistently more than I expect to receive. If you are having issues finding a good prosthetic/orthotic practice look no further. Thanks to them I ran a 5k just 2 years after my amputation! Thank you guys for everything!!!!"

Tony has the following advice for new amputees: "If you just try to live as if you never lost your limb and seek out ways to get around obstacles you have as an amputee, you will ALWAYS find a way!"
